Sr. Engineer - Patent Monitoring & Design Engineer

Your Contribution :

Patent Monitoring (70-80% of total work)

• Mainstream activity is to work on patent monitoring topics – Sorting of filed patents for specific product / process in different folders / under relevant categories (it is reporting kind of work)
• Understand product and manufacturing processes to sort filed patents
• Ready to work on reporting kind of work
• Communication with counterpart team on progress of monitoring work

Process design / process planning projects (20-30% of total work)

• Support process engineering / design assignment – CAD design, drawings and bill of material using CAD tools.
• Basic skills of CAD (Catia V5)
• Preparation of engineering drawing
• Design of fixtures, gauges, frames and equipment’s
• Work on process planning topics

Your Experience and Qualification :

• BE (Mechanical / automobile / production)
• Minimum 1-to-2-years of experience in process planning, industrial engineering or process design
• Readiness to work reporting kind of work / data review projects
• Knowhow about patent monitoring, patent search and filing process.
• Good understanding about basic engineering terminologies, assembly definitions, drawings and components.
• Knowledge of Microsoft word, Excel and PowerPoint
• CAD system knowhow CATIA / Solidworks
• Knowledge CAD modelling & Engineering drawings
• Know-how of automotive component design

Minimum Requirement:

• MS office – Knowledge of Microsoft word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Patent monitoring tools ex. IP7, Orbit.
• Knowledge of patent reading, patent filing and patent search
• CAD system knowhow CATIA / Solidworks
• Knowledge CAD modelling & Engineering drawings
• Know-how of automotive component design
• Communication skills: (written and verbal) to effectively convey information to stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Interest in learning and exploring new concepts, technologies, and processes.
