Senior Engineer – Quality Management

 

Experience 3-5 Years

 

Role and Responsibilities:

Min 3 Years in similar role or experience with customer & supplier Quality management

Prepares and evaluates Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documents for internal customers and suppliers

Ability to read understand and assess engineering drawings, CAD data and Geometric dimensions & tolerancing.

Lead APQP reviews according to planning defined with customers

Hands on Experience in Microsoft Excel to organize warranty reports and converted them into presentable form.

Require advanced MS Excel skills to prepare Supplier quality reports for MAHLE Management

Perform data transformation, analysis using Power BI to prepare actionable dashboard

Prepare PFMEA in SCIO, APIS or Excel for new Product development & series projects

Prepare Control Plan for New Product development & series projects

Preform Process capability studies using MINITAB & analyses the graphs or charts of data

Perform MSA study using MINITAB & analyses the data

Leading and coordinating quality activities in new projects regarding Gap Analysis, Quality requirements, Risk analysis etc.

Review the Customer specific requirement and identify gaps

Develop corrective actions, solutions, and improvements in execution of Quality activities

To prepare a weekly or monthly warranty report to project stakeholder and to the customer, including trend, pareto analysis for top field failures.

Analyses customer warranty for responsibility, reason, cost, and resolution.

Basic knowledge of Quality Management

Handle IATF, customer audits & customer portals for documentation.

EDUCATION AND PERSONAL QUALITIES

 

Degree / Diploma / master’s in Mechanical / Automobile / Electrical / Electronics

Advance Excel Certification / Power App/ Power BI skills/ Six Sigma Green Belt / IATF 16949 awareness will be added advantage

Required Skills: Communication, fully conversant in Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint), Analysis & Problem-solving skills

Industry Preference: Automotive Engineering Services, Manufacturing background
