Senior Engineer – Costing

Experience 2-4 Years

This position is responsible for Costing of Products like HVAC, Radiator, Charge air coolers, filters, Mechatronics & electronic products.

using MAHLE standard software FACTON, excel, SAP. Analyze and compare products costs. Prepare and update Product cost calculations.

based on changes from Customer, PCO’s, new rates, Premises. Follow standard controlling guidelines defined by group. Track Product /

Project cost from acquisition to series.

Min 2 Years in similar role or experience in should costing.

Accurately prepares and updates costing based on customer request or changes in project using FACTON software.
Interacts with different departments to understand and analyze project changes.

Understand expectations and translates it into the desired output.

Ownership of Product / Project Costing.

Prepares different cost comparisons, scenario calculations as per expectations from stakeholders in FACTON and /or using excel.

Understands guidelines defined by MAHLE group.

Costing knowledge of sheet metal parts, plastic parts, would be an added advantage.

Ready to work in shifts to interact with North America, Europe or Japan.

English language proficiency is must.

EDUCATION AND PERSONAL QUALITIES

Qualification: Degree / master’s in Mechanical / Automobile / Electrical / Electronics

Advance Excel Certification, FACTON or any costing software knowledge will be added advantage.

Required Skills: Communication, fully conversant in Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint), Analysis & Problem-solving skills.

Industry Preference: Automotive Engineering Services, Manufacturing background
