Lead Developer/Architect – Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Developer / Architect to design and support AI-driven architecture services across enterprise platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in enterprise architecture, cloud-native technologies, and system integration, along with hands-on experience in enabling AI/ML solutions within scalable ecosystems.

This role will focus on architecting robust platforms that support AI workloads, data pipelines, and intelligent applications, while ensuring scalability, security, and seamless integration across systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement AI-centric enterprise architecture frameworks and standards
• Design scalable cloud-native architectures to support AI/ML workloads and data platforms
• Architect and integrate AI services (ML models, APIs, data pipelines) into enterprise systems
• Lead the design of end-to-end AI solutions, including data ingestion, processing, model deployment, and monitoring
• Ensure seamless system integration across applications, analytics platforms, and AI services
• Drive adoption of MLOps practices for model lifecycle management (deployment, monitoring, retraining)
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business teams to translate AI use cases into technical solutions
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams
• Lead architecture reviews, design governance, and technology decisions
• Ensure non-functional requirements such as performance, scalability, reliability, and security for AI platforms
• Support modernization initiatives, including AI enablement of legacy systems
• Evaluate emerging AI tools, frameworks, and platforms

Leadership & Mentorship

• Mentor development specialist and DevOps specialists and provide technical leadership across the team

Qualifications & Experience 

Core Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software development, solution architecture, or technical leadership roles
• Strong background in enterprise architecture and distributed systems design
• Proven experience in cloud-native technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience with AI/ML architecture patterns and system integration

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js
• Experience with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, etc.)
• Strong understanding of data engineering pipelines (ETL/ELT, streaming, batch processing)
• Experience with MLOps tools (MLflow, Kubeflow, SageMaker, Azure ML, Vertex AI)
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Expertise in API-driven architecture (REST, GraphQL)
• Familiarity with event-driven systems and messaging (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Service Bus)
• Experience with data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, etc.)
• Strong understanding of databases (SQL/NoSQL) and data modeling
• Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation)
• CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

Educational Background

• B.Tech/B.S./ M.S. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field

Additional Skills & Preferred Qualifications

• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills
• Self-motivated, customer-focused, and detail-oriented mindset

• Experience designing and deploying AI-powered enterprise applications
• Exposure to Generative AI / LLM integration (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, etc.)
• Knowledge of responsible AI, model governance, and compliance
• Certifications in cloud architecture or AI/ML (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, etc.)
• Familiarity with hybrid or multi-cloud environments
• Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP) – strongly preferred
• Six Sigma Yellow Belt or Green Belt certification – a plus
• ITIL certification – a plus
