Purpose of the job

Takes over the daily operating activities and thus enables the proper and secure provision of the IT systems and applications

Roles and Responsibilites

  • Operates the IT systems or applications according to Standard Operating Procedures and Operations Manuals
  • Perform user access provisioning, modification, and de-provisioning for employees, contractors, and third parties.
  • Performs Request Fulfilment activities (e.g. user management, provide new instances of databases, etc.)
  • Supports the Incident Management activities according to the respective process to reduce service interruption or decrease of service quality to the minimum and according to agreed OLAs and SLAs
  • Ensures that all components are continually monitored and identifies potential problems or trends before failures or performance degradation occur
  • Ensures that the information in the CMDB is kept up to date

Typical Tasks

  • Implements monitoring activities for IT infrastructure components and applications based on defined monitoring procedures
  • Supports the Change Management Process by performing changes on IT Infrastructure components or applications
  • Executes and monitors system or application backups
  • Validates that batch jobs are executed as planned
  • Performs Patch Management activities
  • Performs implementation actions regarding the deployment of new releases
  • Analyses and remedies failures or restores systems after breakdown
  • Maintains the operational knowledge base

Technical competencies

  • 3-4 years of experience in one of the market leading IAM solutions, preferably Omada Identity
  • Experience in SQL and powershell queries
  • Experience in Active Directory
  • Optional Skills
  • IT Security Best Practices
  • LDAP
  • Authorization concepts
  • Experience in reading and writing Scripts and APIs
  • Experience in PowerShell
  • Good knowledge of ITIL framework
  • Good knowledge of IAM concept

Behavioral competencies

  • Language skills: Fluent in English, additional languages are welcome
  • Team player (especially working with global / intercultural teams)
  • Good communication skills (in writing and verbally)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (target oriented)
  • Must work well under pressure / excellent time Management / conflict Management
