Development Specialist – Role Overview

We are looking for a talented Development Specialist with 3+ years of hands-on experience in building scalable, high-performance applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in software development principles and proficiency across multiple programming languages, including Node.js, TypeScript, Python, and Java.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend and full-stack applications
• Build RESTful APIs and microservices using Node.js, TypeScript, Python, and Java
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, QA, Product) to deliver high-quality solutions
• Participate in system design discussions and contribute to architecture decisions
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues
• Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL) for data modeling and integration
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks

Qualifications & Experience

Core Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on software development experience
• Strong foundation in general software development principles and system design
• Proficiency in at least two of the following: Node.js, TypeScript, Python, Java
• Experience building APIs and microservices architectures

Technical Skills

• Backend frameworks (Express.js, NestJS, Spring Boot, Django/FastAPI, etc.)
• Strong understanding of object-oriented and functional programming concepts
• Experience with databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar
• Familiarity with API design patterns (REST, GraphQL)
• Version control systems (Git)
• Knowledge of testing frameworks (JUnit, PyTest, Jest, etc.)
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Exposure to event-driven architecture and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• Familiarity with frontend technologies (React, Angular) is a plus
• Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments
• Understanding of security best practices in application development

Educational Background

• B.Tech/B.S./ M.S. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field

Additional Skills & Preferred Qualifications

• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills
• Self-motivated, customer-focused, and detail-oriented mindset
• Exposure to event-driven architecture and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• Familiarity with frontend technologies (React, Angular) is a plus
• Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments
• Understanding security best practices in application development
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

• Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP) – strongly preferred
• Six Sigma Yellow Belt or Green Belt certification – a plus
• ITIL certification – a plus
