Project Quality Engineer - PQE
Your Contribution
We are looking for a responsible and motivated individual for the position Project Quality Engineer. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth launch and industrialization of new wiring projects, meeting all customer requirements and automotive standards in terms of quality and time management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate APQP phases and submit PPAP packages for new project launches and product/process changes according to customer requirements
- Request and track all PPAP approvals and obtain signed PSWs
- Elaborate and follow up on product validation plans
- Maintain direct contact with customer quality representatives to resolve reported quality issues
- Create and update Control Plans and participate in risk assessment and PFMEA development and updates
- Ensure coordination between the customer and plant team regarding issues, changes, and start-ups
- Deploy all customer requirements and specifications correctly
- Agree on special characteristics with the customer and ensure proper implementation by the multidisciplinary team
- Manage customer complaints (8D, 48-hour response, action plan, 8D closure)
- Participate in RFQ reviews and submissions
- Prepare and follow up on customer audits and visits
- Collaborate effectively with all teams to achieve and maintain IATF and ISO certifications
Your Experience and Qualifications
- Engineering degree or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the automotive industry in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of quality core tools: APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plan, SPC
- Familiarity with problem-solving tools: 8D, Ishikawa, 5Why
- Good understanding of Quality Management Systems (IATF and ISO standards)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and interact across multiple teams
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficient knowledge of English and Serbian (spoken and written)
