YOUR CONTRIBUTION 
• Support and plan Engine Calibration Development and Testing
• Conduct chassis/engine emission testing activities, including detailed analysis of test results
• Optimize calibrations to achieve tailpipe emissions, FE and drivability targets
• Prepare technical reports, and presentations
• Work with customers, suppliers and internal teams
• Ability to adapt, integrate and work well with others is essential
• Maintain a specialist working knowledge of new technologies as appropriate to the role
• Observe all safety rules and regulations. Must act safely and be responsible for the safety of 
others around the work area 
• Maintain awareness of and meet the requirements of the Company Quality System
• Employee duties are not limited to those stated above, but are inclusive of any tasks assigned by 
supervisor/manager

 

YOUR EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS 
• Hands on vehicle / engine experience is advantageous
• Preferred candidates will have experience and/or interest in;
o Internal combustion engines and testing techniques
o Vehicle testing in lab or dyno environmet
o Engine Management Systems (EMS) principles
o Calibration tools and processes 
o On-Board Diagnostics (OBD)
o Automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN)
o Script writing capabilities for data reduction and analysis
o Matlab/Simulink
• Ability to work well under pressure and to strict time constraints, as part of a team or 
individually
• Confidence to clearly communicate effectively at all levels
• Self-motivated with the drive to complete tasks in a timely manner with appropriate attention to 
detail
• Flexibility with working hours and willingness to travel
