Logistics & Supply Chain Team Leader

As a Logistics & Supply Chain Team Leader, you will ensure the seamless flow of materials that keeps our production running efficiently. Leading a team of four specialists, you will coordinate planning, procurement, logistics, and inventory activities while working closely with stakeholders across the business. This is an opportunity to combine people leadership with end-to-end supply chain management and drive operational excellence in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Your Contribution

• Lead and develop a team of supply chain and logistics professionals, setting priorities and supporting performance and capability growth.
• Ensure material availability to support production plans while balancing inventory levels and minimizing supply risks.
• Oversee material planning, operational procurement, and supplier delivery performance to maintain a reliable and efficient supply flow.
• Coordinate domestic and international transportation activities, ensuring on-time deliveries and cost-effective logistics operations.
• Manage import documentation, letters of credit, and subcontracting activities to support smooth international and external manufacturing processes.
• Work closely with Production, Purchasing, Quality, Warehouse, Customer Service, and Operations teams to resolve issues and improve performance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory management, logistics efficiency, and supply chain reliability.

Your Experience and Qualifications

• Degree qualification or equivalent relevant demonstrable experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a supply chain, logistics, materials planning, or procurement environment within a manufacturing business.
• Previous people management or team leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and develop others.
• Strong understanding of material planning, inventory management, supplier performance management, and transportation processes.
• Experience coordinating international shipments, import/export activities, or global supply chain operations.
• Good knowledge of ERP systems and advanced Excel skills for planning, reporting, and data analysis.
• Fluent English and Italian communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and with external partners.
