MAHLE Smartbike Systems - Project Quality Engineer

*Maternity Cover. Temporary contract. Starting June 2024

The Project Quality Engineer is responsible of ensuring the overall project quality achievement according to the defined project quality targets. Confirms internal PDP project process compliance and ensures that the best practices are followed.

• Collaborates with other engineers, designers and staff to review the project's design, manufacturing and documentation; ensures that program or contract quality requirements are met.
• Analyzes quality programs and take corrective actions when necessary.
• Identifies customer requirements in contractual documentation and ensures the project fulfills those requirements.
• Supports assigned project or operations team by providing analysis and expertise throughout the inspection and implementation process.
• Identifies root causes of problems in the production process; recommends and/or implements corrective measures..
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Moderate FMEA and support the development team with Quality tools.
• Implement and execute APQP activities within the development projects.

What skills do you need?

• Degree in Industrial/Mechanics/Electrics/Electronics/Telecommunications/Aerospace Engineering.
• At least 3 years' experience on a similar role.
• English fluent.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams and sketches.
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to serve as a liaison with developers, project managers and customer support.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and CAD software.
• Good knowledge of, or the ability to quickly learn, production processes.
