MAHLE Smartbike Systems - NVH or Signal Processing Engineer

As a NVH or Signal Processing Engineer the role will be to plan, define and execute the test campaigns for the validation/verification of the different e-bikes projects throughout the project development, until market release.

Especially as an acoustic engineer. it is importan to take closer look at measurements such as designs, analysis of parts and the behaviour of noise levels with these parts

Furthermore there will be direct contact with the development engineerin teams to support in the development activities and troubleshooting/investigations.

Your Role & Responsibilities

• Development, testing and certification of exterior noise emissions.

• Creation of an NVH or signal processing framework for current and future projects.

• Support NVH development for product lifecycles. Continuous evolution of NVH performance.

• Assistance in identifying new opportunities, including BOM and process. Update progress bar.

• Development of existing methodologies, guidelines and processes to support design, development and manufacture.

• Development of various tracking systems and documents for the collection, analysis and presentation of new NVH or signal processing topics.

• Working with an international team.

Your Skills & Strengths

• Degree in Engineering (Preferably Acoustics, Industrial, Mechanical or Electronics).
• Languages. Spanish (medium), English (high).
• Strong knowledge of NVH and signal processing measurement system methods.
• Knowledge in the field of measurement data acquisition/processing (preferably with measurement system from Müller-BBM and SIEMENS Scadas is an advantage).
• Familiar with psychoacoustics.
• Experience in using and creating technical documentation.
• Working experience 3-5 years.
• Teamwork.
• Cycling enthusiast is a plus.
