As an Iberia Regional Manager yoy will support the definition of short, medium and long term customer strategies and the plans for their realization in coordination with Global Sales Manager. 

Represent MAHLE Smartbike systems at dedicated countries as main contact person for contractual negotiation, product prescription, pricing negotiation, and other important  technical, commercial or communication business requirements.

 

Create and maintain a network for information and communication flow both for customers to MAHLE and vice versa.
Regional responsibility in sales office / countries, in close  coordination with Head of Sales, Sales Coordinator & Projects leader, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Aftersales & Service, Product and Project management at Mahle Smartbike Systems headquarters. 

Your Role & Responsibilities

 

Strategy

Support the definition and implementation of a medium and long term customers strategy, based on the agreed Sales Strategy.

Lead and execute Regional Sales activities together with the customer for the different  customer segmentations in order to maximize profitable growth of the market share at the regional customer base.

 

Budget

Set up and review the agreed budgets, compare activities and results with the agreed and previously established budgets and take appropriate corrective measures in case of deviations.

 

Acquisition of New customers

Pursue new and profitable business opportunities.

Increase customer MAHLE Smartbike Systems base within the Region (Bike OEMS) by proactive prospection per country

 

Market Observation

Define market demand and potential as well as technical trend and competitors analysis. Forward the information internally to the related internal organizations.

 

Customer Relationship Management

Establish long term relationship to the customer ( Bike OEMs & Distributors) and strengthen contact network within different  organization levels and functions in order to be considered a strategic supplier of high technical competency and commercial competitiveness.

 

 

Quality and After Sales & Services customer satisfaction.

Ensure the processing of customer (OEMs, Distributor and Retailers )  complaints based on quality standards of MAHLE. Continuous synchronization and collaborative work with Regional Service Center. Constantly monitor, analyze the results as well as define and ensure the implementation of measurements and actions for the continuous improvement of customer satisfaction.

 

Marketing Lead for the region. Define the strategy plan and support the implementation of all the marketing activities related to Business requirements with OEMs, Distributors and retailers for securing the proper KPi´s defined like brand awareness, sell through and sell out.  

 

Leadership Management and Organization

Select, lead, motivate and develop the team regarding the company's leadership principles. Design the proper and dynamic organizational structure for maximizing productivity and oversight of the area of responsibility.

 

Your Skills & Strengths

  • BSc degree in Sales, Business Administration or relevant field
  • Proven work experience as a Regional Sales Manager or similar senior sales role
  • Ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators (ROI and KPIs)
  • Understanding of the sport business, e-mobility would be a plus
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with a problem-solving attitude
  • Availability to travel as needed
  • English C1
  • Fluent in Spanish
