Who are we looking for?

  • You have completed (or will complete by April 2027), a Master’s degree with above-average results, preferably in a technical or engineering discipline.
  • You are interested in quality, supplier development, manufacturing processes and international collaboration.
  • You are fluent in English and communicate technical topics clearly with international stakeholders.
  • You bring initiative, a hands-on mindset, holistic and entrepreneurial thinking, strong communication and teamwork, analytical problem solving, a digital mindset and a constructive approach to change.
  • You can structure technical issues, distinguish facts from assumptions, critically check data sources and completeness, explain analyses, identify root-cause questions and translate findings into practical actions. 
  • You have at least three months of international experience and enjoy working across international interfaces.

Your tasks:

  • Gain broad experience across MAHLE Thermal & Fluid Systems Quality (TQ) during the 18-month Global Career Starter Program, with a long-term development focus on Supplier Quality Assurance.
  • Contribute to selected quality activities and work closely with the global Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) organization. Support interfaces with Preventive Quality, Customer Quality and Purchasing through limited learning assignments and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Support a structured review of SQA processes and their currently supporting tools within the agreed project scope. Help enhance process transparency, identify and concretize digitalization initiatives, and assess their potential. Explore which measures are taken to achieve (supplier) quality, their effort and cost, and where digital solutions could create value.
  • Support BU2 implementation within the ongoing initiative for a digital global Tool Refurbishment tracker/database. Coordinate interfaces among BU SQA, Corporate SQA and Purchasing; help clarify requirements and systematics with process owners; support a bounded implementation or pilot; and contribute to a controlled global rollout concept, subject to process-owner and IT approvals.
  • Enhance Supply Risk Management within Supplier Quality, focusing on risk identification, process optimization, and collaboration with Purchasing, Logistics, and Risk Management.
  • Present findings and hand over maintainable project outputs to named process owners.
  • Participate in international projects and, subject to agreed program planning, one international assignment. Business travel will be aligned with program needs
