C Shift - Assembly Associate
SUMMARY
To assemble and package bulk components in such a manner to provide a quality product to the global aftermarket.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Properly verify components to shop order prior to assembly.
Meet or exceed quality and production standards on a daily basis.
Proper handling of product to prevent damage.
Report all equipment maintenance problems daily.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Work with and always display a team concept approach, working individually, or as a team.
HU retrieval, Order set-up, Pre-kitting (ILS), Kitting, bagging, printing and/or labelling, hand packing, “catching” F/G units, board line component “dropping”, and arranging bearing sets are all processes within the department required to perform the assembly job functions.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Must be able to work in fast paced environment. Employee must have good eye/hand coordination. Must be able to perform repetitive functions for an extended period of time.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or GED equivalent. Basic knowledge of engine parts preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to complete basic math calculations.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form. Good analytical, conceptual, and organizational skills.
