B Shift - Logistics Coordinator 1
SUMMARY
This role is responsible for the direct coordination for all outbound shipments to include ensuring timely loading of all deliveries, with all necessary documentation, and the tracking of each utilizing to obtain stated KPIs and to align with MAHLE Customer Service Levels.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Monitor reports for priority orders, delivery to the pack center, and delivery TU’s, to ensure a correct balance of resources in the system to complete orders and minimize resource errors.
- Monitor outgoing shipments for correct bill of lading (BOL), packing list, and shipment paperwork, export markings, etc., to (ensure Service Level Agreements are adhered to) with freight carriers and forwarders.
- Responsible for reviewing retrieval sheets, Bol, address labels, and all shipping documents to ensure they are completed correctly.
- Monitors shipping dock on an hourly basis to ensure all processes are being followed to allow shipments to be loaded in a timely manner.
- Responsible for reviewing bills of ladings to ensure the accuracy of all the documents.
- Monitor reports for priority orders, deliveries to the pack center, and delivery TU’s ensuring the correct balance of resources are available in the system to complete orders and minimize resource errors
- Responsible for reviewing export shipping documents.
- Review staging lanes to ensure timely turns.
- Maintain staging lanes readiness to ensure lone HU’s or products are not in holding lanes without a warehouse task.
- Communicate with Group lead for priority orders, delivery to pack center, and delivery TU’s (ensure correct balance of resources in the system to complete orders and minimize resource errors). Monitor outgoing shipments for correct bills of lading, packing list, and shipment paperwork, export markings, etc., to reduce problems with freight carriers and forwarders.
- Prioritize and coordinate with supervisors, SAP Coordinators, other group leaders, and customer service reps to schedule customer orders to meet delivery and productivity requirements within the specified time frame.
- Work with Customer Services and Quality to address shipping discrepancies.

Ability to prioritize production requirements. Possess computer skills in spreadsheet (Excel) functions.

Employees must be able to work additional hours and/or additional days during the payroll week which can be in excess of forty (40) hours per payroll week.
Occasional Overtime may be required.
