B Shift - Logistics COordinator
SUMMARY
Generates bills of lading and other documents required for the shipment of product. Performs data entry functions for orders. Arranges for daily carrier pickup. Maintains records within the department. Process Freight Claims. Communicate with All Departments. Departmental Reporting
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare Bills of Lading.
- Contact Carriers for shipments
- Export Shipping Documentation
- Communication with all departments
- Billing as needed in NAMAS /SAP
- Export Invoice Processing
- Custom Duties/Taxes/ NAFTA
- Follow procedures and filing Documents/Record Keeping
- Must handle multiple tasks on a daily basis
- Projects as assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
The minimum experience / education that is needed to perform the role. Required 2 year degree from an accredited University/College
- Years of experience, 3 to 4 years minimum experience in Logistics
- Microsoft Office applications, emphasis on Excel
- SAP Experience a plus
- Accounting experience in Invoicing
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Must be fluent in English. Working-level second language skills is a plus. Able to write routine reports and correspondence. Able to communicate effectively in verbal and written form with peers, managers, and directors, and to present to groups of customers or employees of the organization. Values and considers the perspectives and backgrounds of all parties.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to apply mathematical calculations
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define and solve problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The environment will vary in this position based on assignments. When working in the office environment noise is generally minimal. Safety procedures and rules must be adhered to.

WORK HOURS
Employees must be able to work additional hours and/or additional days during the payroll week which can be in excess of forty (40) hours per payroll week.
Occasional Overtime may be required.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Domestic/international travel with/without overnight stay may be required.
