A Shift Small Parcel Associate
SUMMARY
Prepares and packages products for shipping, involving duties such as picking items from inventory, accurately weighing and labeling packages, and ensuring they are securely sealed and free from damage before shipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Securely pack products into boxes, containers or other packaging materials, ensuring they are protected from damage during transit.
Apply correct labels, including shipping information and addresses, to packages.,
Weigh packages to ensure compliance with shipping regulations and determine costs.
Inspect products and packaging for any defects or damages to maintain quality standards.
Maintain accurate records of packages, including filling out shipping forms and logging relevant information.
Work with and always display a team concept approach.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to three months related experience and/or training.
Ability to prioritize production requirements. Possess computer skills in spreadsheet (Excel) functions.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to complete basic math calculations.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form. Good analytical, conceptual, and organizational skills.
