SUMMARY

To breakdown incoming material receipts and prepare them for putaway into Bulk or Finished Goods.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

 

Conduct material handling processes and procedures utilizing Material Handling Equipment (forklift) daily (Reach and Sitdown)

 

Conduct Replenishment, Put-Away, Breakdown operations daily

 

Verify part numbers and quantity of parts ordered with the Inbound Sheet on the screen.

 

Meet or exceed production standards on a daily basis.

 

Proper handling of product to prevent damage.

 

Properly stage and label product on pallets for putaway.

 

Completion of required daily paperwork for Inbound reporting

 

Report all Quantity or Quality issues with product to Supervisor or Team leader.

 

Work with and always display a team concept approach, working individually, or as a team.

 

Proper equipment start-up checks and maintenance requirement reporting.

 

Abide by all company safety rules.

 

Report all accidents as soon as they happen.

 

Proper housekeeping required at all times.

 

Work with and display a team concept approach at all times.

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High School diploma or GED equivalent. 

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents.  

 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to complete basic math calculations.

 

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form.  Good analytical, conceptual, and organizational skills.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
