Your Contribution

We are seeking a highly capable Project Manager to lead cross‑functional product development projects from planning through mass production.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with customers and internal engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure successful delivery of manufacturing projects aligned with schedule, cost, and quality targets.

 

  • Develop internal project plans based on customer product development timelines.
  • Drive project execution, ensuring cross‑functional alignment across engineering, production technology, procurement, quality assurance, and related departments.
  • Manage project schedules, define milestones, monitor delays, and implement corrective actions.
  • Oversee task progress management, identifying bottlenecks and facilitating issue resolution.
  • Lead risk management activities, including early identification, assessment, mitigation planning, and follow‑through.
  • Perform resource management, including effort estimation, workload balancing, and team assignment coordination.
  • Facilitate project meetings, technical reviews, and status reporting to internal stakeholders and management.
  • Support ramp‑up to mass production, coordinating with manufacturing to ensure stable launch, quality validation, and initial flow control.

 

Your experience & Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Professional experience in project management or related roles in product development, engineering, or manufacturing.
  • Business level Japanese proficiency
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and general PC skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills for effective coordination with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities to drive cross‑functional teams toward shared goals.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills for handling technical and organizational challenges.
  • Solid project planning and execution capabilities.
  • Effective stakeholder management and cross‑department coordination skills.
  • Strong risk management mindset with the ability to anticipate and address issues proactively.
  • English communication skills, equivalent to TOEIC 600, enabling email correspondence and basic business discussions.
