Controlling Manager

Your Contribution

This role involves managing and analyzing production activities, logistics, and quality from a numerical perspective, and proposing improvement measures to the management team. You will interpret variances between budgets and actual results, identify opportunities for improvement, optimize inventory, and maintain healthy cash flow. As a numerical expert driving the company forward, you may be relied upon by various departments for data insights. You will also have opportunities to participate in cross-functional improvement projects, contributing broadly to business operations through data.

• Management of team members
• Support for budget planning, forecasting, monitoring, and closing activities
• Defining and supporting the execution of initiatives to optimize operational efficiency (production, logistics, etc.)
• Improving the Controlling department’s operational efficiency through SAP
• Preparing and reporting profit‑and‑loss related materials to the headquarters in Germany

Your experience & Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher
• Ability to communicate in Japanese, including reading and writing kanji
• At least 3 years of experience in team management (team size not required)
• At least 3 years of experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing company
• Basic knowledge of SAP
• Ability to read and write in English
