Operations Trainer

Job Title: Operations Trainer

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Deliver structured, hands-on training aligned with DOJO curriculum and company standards to new hires.
• Demonstrate standard operating procedures and proper use of tools and materials.
• Train with intention while instructing new hires on proper techniques, safety protocols, and standard work.
• Observe and assess trainee performance by watching for accuracy, pace, and safe behavior. Offer consistent and constructive feedback and tips to help the new hire understand the operations.
• Create a supportive learning space that encourages questions and fosters a positive attitude toward continuous learning and adaptability.
• Ensure floor readiness by tracking progress of each hire using the DOJO evaluation tools. Sign off on skills when consistently demonstrated to standard.

• Strong communication skills including speaking to groups (10-30 count)
• Able to communicate effectively with peers, managers, and new hires
• Dexterity and process knowledge
• Strong coaching and mentorship ability
• Attention to detail
• Proficient in standard assembly line processes
• Reliability and adaptability
• Highly organized with strong time management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience as a trainer in a production or manufacturing environment.
