Logistics Supervisor
Your Contribution As a Logistics Supervisor reporting to the Head of Logistics, you will lead and coordinate daily logistics and distribution activities to ensure the efficient, safe, and cost‑effective movement of materials and finished goods. The position oversees assigned warehouse operations and shipping and receiving while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. This role serves as a point of contact for cross‑functional teams, provides direction and coaching to logistics personnel, and drives continuous improvement in operational performance, service levels, and workplace safety. This role is responsible to: • Planning and monitoring inbound and outgoing deliveries. • Supervising logistics, warehouse, and transportation • Organizing warehouses, label goods, plot routes and process shipments. • Responding to any issues or complaints. • Researching ideal shipping techniques, routing and carriers. • Working with other departments to incorporate logistics with company procedures and operations. • Updating and evaluating metrics to assess performance and implement enhancements. • Developing relationships with internal customers and stakeholders and communicating about any issues or concerns that arise. • For material inbounds/outbounds, proactively follows up with logistics partners to confirm the status of pending transfers and communicates to Procurement and Warehouse internal partners, to support 3-way match. • Monitoring existing logistics systems and making suggestions for improvement when needed. • Strong attention to detail, multitasking and creative problem-solving skills. • Team player with strong ability to build and maintain relationships. • Lead and train SAP activities in the warehouse area. • Other duties as assigned. Your Experience & Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain or relevant field preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role. • Strong SAP usage experience • Proficient in logistics software applications, databases/ERP/inventory systems MAHLE internal restricted (CL2) • Proficient with Microsoft Office. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Highly organized and possess good decision-making and problem-solving skills. • Excellent attendance record. • Ability to multi-task and exhibit attention to detail. • Knowledge and experience with SAP preferred. • Root cause analysis and problem-solving skills (5 WHY) desired.
