Manufacturing Engineer

Your Role & Responsibilities

• Reduce variability in manufacturing by providing standard works methods and work instructions.
• Follow up with OEE and lead the production and all other support function members to achieve defined goals.
• Diagnosing problems in production line and providing solutions.
• Training operators and maintenance team to transfer know-how. 
• Participate CIP activities after SOP with Optimization team. 
• Planning and implementation of rationalization projects / problem solving/Six Sigma after SOP - and during PDP Phase of Projects.
• Support maintenance activities and plan preventive actions to improve availability. 
• Process validation and release to deliver to production.
• Assist in plant shopfloor layouts and production units design. 
• Reach defined targets at S-Q-D-C
• Consumable management.
• MPS implementation.
• Alignment to MAHLE and market best practices.
• Benchmarking processes with other lines.
• Auditing production lines in terms of MPS and Quality standards.

Your Skills & Strengths

• Experience in automotive (preferably).
• Basic understanding of Lean manufacturing concepts.
• Understanding of HSE practices.
• Experience in Production Engineering roles.
• Relevant professional certificate / Engineering degree.
• English full professional competence.
• Able to use domain key tools at management level (SQL, Programming, MS Office, CAD).
• Proactive and flexible mindset.
• Analytical and negotiation skills.
• Highly organized and structured way of working.
• Open and available to travel nationally and international.
