Improvement Project Manager

Your Role & Responsibilities

• Project Creation:
  • Collect all running initiatives to sustainably improve the performance of Motilla plant. Evaluate the financial contribution and status of each work package.
  • Setup regular weekly project meetings to drive the working packages.
  • Align the project with other initiatives of the #Profitable eFuture program of the bussiness unit. 

• Project Monitoring:
  • Ensure a high level of commitment in the project.
  • Create a proper weekly reporting per working package.
  • Create a consolidated monthly project progress report.
  • Ensure that project KPI's are available for all working packages.
  • Execute reporting meeting and steering team meeting to drive the project.

• Team training and competencies
  • Ensure to provide the required competencies to the project team.
  • Provide MAHLE internal and external competencies to drive the progress.

• Methods and tools:
  • Ensure usage of PM methods and tools.
  • Ensure tracking of all working packages. 
  • Ensure tracking of project KPIs (e.g. ROS, traffic lights) needed for management reporting.
  • Random audits of the processes, methods and tools and its application by the working package leaders.
  • Provide second-level support for working package leaders. 

Your Skills & Strengths

• Engineering Degree or Business degree, MBA. 
• PMI certificate is desirable.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as Project Manager in technical or commercial fields.
• Minimun 1 year of experience as PMO (in automotive company is desirable). 
• English mandatory (C1).
• Spanish desired. 
• Leadership skills (team management, drive for success).
• Communication skills (towards the team, the management, the Board). 
• Networking abilities to connect to different functions internally and externally.
• Knowledge of automotive quality standards (desirable).
