Your Contribution

  • Assist with production control, measurement, and planning. 
  • Develops and writes task analysis, cost analysis and proposals for implementation of new processes or improvements to existing processes.
  • Develops and writes PFMEA’s, Control Plans, etc. for successful launch of programs.  Evaluates these documents on a regular basis for updates.
  • Assist the Production Part Approval Process for new products & changes to existing products.
  • Develops, plans and models alternate processing methods to test feasibility of new applications of system components, and recommends implementation of improved procedures, process improvements and/or set-up reduction techniques.
  • Lead the Strategic Plan / Economic Plan development, analysis & presentation preparation.
  • Analyze work force utilization, facility layout and operational data such as production costs, process flow charts and production schedules to determine efficient utilization of workers, equipment, and materials.
  • Confers with established personnel to implement standard operating procedures and resolve system malfunctions.
  • Participate in piston/assembly drawing reviews and complete Part Feasibility Analysis.
  • Create and maintain SAP materials, bills of material and routings. Assist with resolution of SAP issues, as needed.
  • Confers with workers in other departments such as marketing, training and development, and engineering, to provide technical information.
  • Participates in meetings, seminars, and training sessions as needed to stay apprised of new developments in field.
  • Develops and conducts related equipment training programs and demonstrates skills to trainees (serves as a mentor or coach to established personnel).
  • Monitors function, cycle time and other pertinent parameters of production equipment in order to maintain OEE files and monthly OEE reporting 
  • Perform capacity analysis & maintain customer capacity database requirements.
  • Organization & submission of ‘customer paid’ tooling documentation to the customer.
  • Prepares reports, charts, graphs, and diagrams to illustrate / evaluate workflow, routing, material handling and machine utilization.
  • Performs Audits (Safety, Quality, 5S, etc.), as required.
  • Assist Quality with the maintenance of the department Engineering Change Log
  • Attend and support internal and external Customer Team Meetings as required.

Your Experience & Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite software. 
  • Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from four-year college or university and one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
