Your Contribution;

 

The Special Freight Intern supports urgent, out-of-contract logistics operations for MAHLE North America, ensuring efficient coordination, quotation, and tracking of transportation services. This role contributes to cost control, carrier performance monitoring, and invoice audit processes, ensuring compliance with internal criteria while maintaining smooth and reliable freight operations.

 
 

Special freight requirements    

  • Support road freight: quote with our freight forwarders and provide proper updates.
  • Support the customer carrier process. 

 

Cargobase invoice audit

  • Support auditing Cargobase invoices, confirming all the documents are correct and approve or decline.

 

Reporting

  • Support filling out some monthly reports.
  • Top 5 RCA, expedites freight expenses.

 

Demurrages

  • Support doing analysis for demurrages
  • Other duties and responsabilities may be required.

 

 

Your Experience & Qualifications; 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in International Business, International Relations, or related.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to work with ratios, percentages, and data analysis.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and/or Power BI.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems with multiple variables, defining situations, gathering relevant information, and generating well-founded conclusions.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams across different regions.
  • Effective communication skills, including the ability to interpret policies and procedures and confidently present in meetings.
