Foreign Trade Sr Analyst
Your Contribution:
As a Foreign Trade Sr Analyst you will be responsible for coordinating daily foreign trade operations, ensuring compliance with Mexican customs regulations, IMMEX requirements, and support in free trade agreements. This role monitors import and export activities, supports the control of Annex 24 system, supports audits, resolves operational discrepancies, and drives continuous improvement initiatives.
- Day-to-day operation of foreign trade (monitoring of documentation for customs clearance, openings, closings of both consolidated and individual pedimentos) (land, overseas, air shipments).
- Virtual operations – Import & Export (monitoring, closings operation weekly, monthly, conciliation of receives).
- Lead projects of Fixed asset control.
- Supports annex 24 controls and compliance.
- Partner with Procurement, Logistics, Finance, Operations, Engineering, and other functional areas to ensure alignment on foreign trade requirements.
- Monitoring the development of new plans and/or strategies to improve established processes.
- Periodic audits in conjunction with the team assigned to the information production base (customs operation) to confirm the correct filling of the database and confirm against Data Stage.
- Coordinate implementation activities related to foreign trade tools, systems, and compliance processes.
Your Experience & Qualifications:
- Experience in similar position.
- English Advanced.
- Knowledge of SAP and Excel are a must.
- Experience working under the IMMEX/Maquiladora program and managing customs operations, Annex 24, and related compliance requirements.
- Strong knowledge of Mexican Customs Law and Foreign Trade Regulations and Free Trade Agreements (FTAs), Rules of Origin, Regional Value Content (RVC) calculations and Customs Verification Units (UVA).
- Knowledge of DataStage or similar data management tools.
- Experience leading projects and driving process improvement initiatives.
