Quality Engineer

Your Contribution

In this role, you will act as a key quality interface between customers, suppliers, and internal teams, driving claim resolution, PPAP approvals, and quality excellence.

• Lead customer and supplier claim management activities, including warranty and field claims, ensuring timely containment actions, root cause analysis, and implementation of sustainable corrective measures.
• Manage and coordinate PPAP/PSW approval processes with customers and suppliers, acting as the key contact for release activities and ensuring compliance with customer-specific requirements.
• Drive structured problem-solving using quality tools such as 8D, 5 Why, and Ishikawa to improve product quality and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate incoming material quality activities, including inspections, material releases, product identification, and sorting actions to ensure conformity of supplied parts.
• Collaborate with internal production plants, logistics providers, suppliers, and customers to resolve quality issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor and reduce quality-related costs, including scrap, return deliveries, and claim costs, while supporting achievement of quality and operational targets.

Your Experience & Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in an automotive quality role with strong exposure to customer and supplier quality management.
• Hands-on experience with PPAP, PSW, customer release processes, and claim management.
• Strong knowledge of quality methodologies and tools, including 8D, Root Cause Analysis, 5 Why, and Ishikawa.
• Good knowledge of SAP and MS Office applications.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken; German language skills are an advantage.
