ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work within the MAHLE Compressor Product Development team to advance product development and customer launch activities
- Assist with preparation, build, and testing of compressor product samples
- Coordinate test programs
- Analyze test data and organize results with observations and conclusions
- Apply engineering practices to reach design solutions
- Participate in product cost and quality improvement efforts
- Participate in cross-functional teams related to customer program launch activity
- Participate in meetings, seminars, and training sessions
- Meet with outside suppliers/vendors
- Operate machine tools / produce product components
- Performs other assignments as instructed by Department Management
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be enrolled in a 4-year accredited Unviersity
- High level of analytical skills and mechanical aptitude preferred
- Experience with precision rotating equipment
- Experience reading technical drawings and interpreting GD&T (geometric dimension & tolerancing)
- Good written and oral skills – ability to convey technical concepts
- Ability to manage time and organize effectively with multiple projects
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Good results orientation and strong work ethic
- Good interpersonal skills
- Computer competency with Microsoft Office
- Auto Cad drafting knowledge preferred
