Your Contribution 

As a Sr. Prototype Coordinator – Compressors reporting to the Supervisor of General Administration and Facilities, you will be responsible to support the Global AC Compressors Center of Competence team, where new AC Compressor products are developed. Development engineering teams are developing the AC electrically driven compressors product portfolio for the MAHLE plants worldwide, and producing functional prototypes for development and customer projects, supporting the regions. The Sr. prototype coordinator is ensuring all the resources required are in place to for those activities.

This role is responsible to:

  • Process customer prototype’s sales orders.
  • Process supplier PO for prototype parts, experimental material and related
  • outside services.
  • Management of prototype parts and components’ inventory management aligned with PM’s and Engineering.
  • Create FedEx, DHL, and Cargobase shipping documents & packages for
  • outgoing shipments and handle mail deliveries.
  • Track domestic and international shipments and resolve transportation issues.
  • Coordinate collection of drawings, send out for RFQ to prototype component suppliers, coordinate POs with vendors on timelines for specifications, and quality control documents of the supplied prototype parts.
  • Administrator of customer sales orders; receive and process customer orders, advise on inventory needed to fulfil orders including sourcing, prepare necessary documentation to ensure timely delivery and customer invoices using SAP.
  • IT main contact for the site; including handling copier (on-site repairs)
  • NPM purchasing main contact for the site
  • Key contact for all external MAHLE and Customer events on site
  • Administrator of Integra shipping platform database.

Your Experience & Qualifications 

  • Associate or BS degree (preferred).
  • Experience in “Engineering Factory” process flows.
  • General understanding of Principles of parts, drawings, material specifications, quality systems.
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office, SAP (S4Hana).
  • Good written and interpersonal skills and globally network.
  • Ability to manage time and organize effectively with multiple projects.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
