Project Manager
Your Contribution
As a Project Manager, you will lead automotive programs and cross-functional initiatives focused on engineering changes, supplier transitions, manufacturing process improvements, cost optimization, and product transfers. You will serve as a key liaison between customers and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.
- Lead and coordinate engineering changes, supplier changes, manufacturing improvements, and process-related projects across multiple automotive programs.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, risk assessments, and action plans using Microsoft Project and other program management tools.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to ensure successful execution of project objectives.
- Serve as the primary customer interface for program-related activities, providing regular updates, managing expectations, and resolving issues effectively.
- Support cost reduction initiatives, process optimization efforts, and continuous improvement activities while maintaining customer and business requirements.
- Manage program risks, timelines, deliverables, and change management activities in a fast-paced automotive environment.
- Support new business awards and future product development programs as business opportunities expand..
Your Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Automotive Project Management, Program Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, Product Development, or New Product Introduction (NPI).
- Experience managing engineering changes, supplier changes, process improvements, product transfers, plant transfers, or cost reduction initiatives.
- Proven ability to coordinate and influence cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Purchasing, and Customers.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and customer-facing skills with the ability to drive projects in a fast-paced environment.
