Your Contribution


As a Program Manager reporting to the Head of Project Management AC, you will be responsible for the successful execution of programs in order to achieve the project objectives concerning profitability, costs, quality and timing. Responsible for driving programs from acquisition to launch.  Responsible for the development, coordination, and implementation of project plan. Initiate all necessary support activities for the rest of the Product Life Cycle.

 

The role provides:

  • Functional leadership of the project team (motivate and convince team members in order to meet overall target of the project)
  • Ensuring simultaneous engineering as well as effective opportunity and risk management
  • Coordination of project team members, customers, internal and external development partners, suppliers, and production facilities
  • Team staffing to ensure right and sufficient resources
  • Planning and assigning work packages to the team while monitoring and controlling the progress (project structure; project phases, schedule and milestones; project organization, etc)
  • Ensure successful launch
  • Management of all project stakeholders’ interests (including reporting, escalation or compromise if necessary)
  • Overall responsibility and management of released project budget
  • Project reporting and presentation to management committees
  • Create and maintain transparency and traceability within the project
  • Coordination and management of project changes and deviations considering the effects on the project objectives
  • Ensure requirements management

 

Your Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business or equivalent degree from a four-year college or university required
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant Account Management experience and/or Application Engineering or equivalent role, preferably in the automotive industry; preferably 5 or more years
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation delivery, with demonstrated experience with account/customer relationships, in-depth knowledge of contract negotiations and product development
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a minimum of one account/customer; experience with managing multiple simultaneous accounts/customers preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of contract negotiations and product development preferred
  • Strong time and project management, problem solving and continuous improvement skills
