ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the HVAC Teamlead product engineers who are responsible to develop new automotive HVAC module designs and cost estimates for all new business pursuits (Acquisition Projects) in North America.
- Projects could include traditional internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles and / or newer battery electric vehicle (BEV) projects.
- Support the design, build and validation testing of new HVAC concept modules to ensure the module design meets cost targets and meets or exceeds internal and customer requirements.
- Specific project assignments and mentors will be defined closer to the start date of the internship and may be influenced by the experience and interests of the student.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be enrolled in a 4-year accredited university
- Pursing a degree towards: Mechanical Engineering
- Skills: MS Office, AutoCAD skills preferred but not requried
- Previous internship experience preffered but not required
