Your Contribution

As a Mechatronics Engineer reporting to the Head of Product Engineering, you will be responsible for developing and producing a product portfolio consisting of mechanical drive and electric drive compressors.

  • Designing and developing electric drive AC compressor electrical components including all aspects of motor drive electronics HW architecture and design

  • Assist with preparation, build, and testing of compressor product samples and coordination of test programs.

  • Co-ordination of prototype PCB builds and fabricate electronic control boxes and wire harnesses.

  • Analyze test data and organize results relative to internal or customer specifications with observations and conclusions

  • Participate in innovation within cross-functional teams, product cost and quality improvement initiatives while working with suppliers, and manufacturing plants to insure product design for high value and manufacturability

Your Experience & Qualifications

  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering or BS degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with Electrical Engineering minor

  • Excellent “hands on” mechanical ability and interest in mechatronic product development

  • Understanding of principles of statics, dynamics, mechanics, strengths of materials, thermodynamics, physics, and engineering design

  • Good interpersonal skills, written, and oral skills with the ability to convey technical concepts

  • Ability to manage time and organize effectively with multiple projects and to work effectively in a team environment
