Associate Product Engineer - Automotive eCompressors (Onsite)

SUMMARY

The position is part of the product engineering team developing the electrically driven AC compressor, which is a mechatronic product needed in conjunction with future hybrid or fully electrified powertrains.

The position contributes to the electrical compressor development activity by design and validation of electric AC compressors.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Designing and developing AC compressor components working with a team of Product Engineers and Designers with focus targeted to the electronics portion of the compressor.

• Develop validation programs for OEM customers for the successful launch of their programs.

• Participate in innovation, product cost and quality improvement initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS 

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace or similar non-Technology related Engineering field of study is required; Masters degree is a plus

• Minimum GPA of 3.0 or above is required 

• 1-3 years of demonstrated, hands-on Engineering experience gained through internship, co-op, or on the job exposure is required

• Knowledge of experience with precision or rotational mechanical devices is nice to have 

• Automotive industry or similar manufacturing experience is a plus

Salary: $75,000 - $95,000
