MAHLE Lifecycle and Mobility is the business unit specializing in replacement parts and services for the aftermarket industry.

The division leverages MAHLE’s original equipment (OE) manufacturing expertise for its established product portfolio, while also incorporating capabilities in electrification and digitalization to support distributors, auto parts retailers, and engine repair workshops.

The portfolio is complemented by products developed by MAHLE Service Solutions for workshop equipment, as well as comprehensive service offerings and customized training programs.

Your Contributions

As a Senior Buyer at MAHLE, you will be responsible for negotiating the procurement of materials, products, and services required for the group’s operations, including the management of complex contracts, with the objective of securing the best commercial terms with suppliers. You will also monitor delivery schedules and supplier performance in compliance with internal policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Develop continuous improvement projects for purchasing processes.
  • Establish and strengthen relationships with globally operating suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures, including governance and compliance requirements.
  • Lead negotiations for strategic projects and monitor performance indicators, proposing actions to improve results.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders on strategic decisions, ensuring alignment with organizational needs while achieving the best cost-benefit ratio.
  • Prepare and analyze management reports and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Develop and qualify suppliers according to group-defined processes, ensuring quality and reliability throughout the supply chain.
  • Conduct market analysis and benchmarking activities to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, internal policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and implement corrective action plans when necessary.
  • Develop new sourcing opportunities and strengthen strategic supplier partnerships.

Your Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, International Trade, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Advanced English with strong communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Knowledge of Power BI is considered a plus.
  • SAP knowledge is desirable.
  • Experience in direct purchasing within the automotive sector, preferably in the aftermarket segment, is desirable.
  • Technical knowledge of products within the filtration and thermal management segments, such as radiators, filters, condensers, and related components.
  • Experience in supplier negotiation and development with both local and international suppliers is desirable.
  • Availability to work onsite in Limeira, São Paulo, Brazil.
