Head of Purchasing
Your contributions:
The Head of Purchasing will be responsible for the entire product portfolio for the aftermarket, sourced from North and South America. He/She manages the entire procurement process, from selecting potential new suppliers, negotiating contracts, processing quotations, implementing material cost reduction initiatives, and evaluating suppliers.
- Manage the entire supply process, from selection of potential new suppliers, contract negotiations, quotation request processes, material cost reduction initiatives and supplier evaluation;
- Managing long and short-term goals with Global Purchasing;
- Complete general administration tasks such as: timesheet review/approval, authorization of expenses, P.O. approval for the responsible region of North and South Americas;
- Align strategy on global level and deploy goals, targets and measures to the regional responsible and to the dedicated functions and responsible with contribution to the specific product group business in the Region;
- Seek to improve revenue generation opportunities and increase the operational efficiency of service delivery;
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies for North and South America and globally, in cooperation with the global Head of Strategic Purchasing;
- Responsible for developing and maintaining a good working relationship with suppliers, as well as fostering a close-knit environment with suppliers.
Your Experiences & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Administration, Economics, Engineering, or related fields;
- Fluent English and Intermediate Spanish;
- Experience in people management;
- Experience with purchasing processes, supplier management, and improvement projects in the automotive industry;
- Availability to work a hybrid model (4x1) in Limeira.
