Product Engineer

Your Roles & Responsibilities

• Analyze information generated by manufacturers and competitors in the aftermarket regarding cataloging and components to generate new additions to our coverage, as well as the possibility of updating information for already available components.
• Responsible for all stages of the product lifecycle, including development details, supplier analysis, information on the introduction of new part numbers, substitutions, consolidations, relabeling information, and analyzing market recommendations for the introduction of new products.
• Responsible for the accuracy of applications and product data in all market publications
• Responsible for competitor analysis, as well as the relationship between MAHLE part numbers and their exchanges in the market.
• Responsible for coordinating the development of all new product programs
• Responsible for establishing product and material specifications.
• Responsible for quality assurance of each product and the contents of each set.
• Assisting sales staff in meeting the needs and requirements of MAHLE customers and prospects

Your Skills and Strengths

• Successfully completed degree in business informatics, industrial engineering or a comparable education
• Knowledge of vehicle technology, a training in automotive mechatronics or related fields is a plus
• Fluent knowledge of English, intercultural skills and a willingness to occasionally travel to other company locations
