Role & Responsibilities:
- Provide technical project support for new development projects. (BOMs, DVP&Rs, DFA/DFM, FMEAs, PDP).
- Supporting industrialization engineering and manufacturing trials for pre-series product builds and process trials.
- Support manufacturing for serial production issues and cost reduction programs.
- Interface with customers/suppliers in technical contract reviews.
- Initiate and lead product quality improvements and cost reductions activities.
- Identify, communicate, and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
- Follow all documented procedures and standardized work forms and standards.
Skills & Strengths:
- Degree in engineering required; B.S. ME preferred; master’s degree a plus.
- Knowledge in 3D modeling, 2D drafting and GD&T.
- Experience with heat exchanger design & development is an advantage.
- Knowledge of TS-16949/IATF-16949 requirements.
- Awareness of product cost structure and consequences.
- Must be fluent in English.
- Solid time management skills.
