OnSite Services Specialist - Cd Juarez

Your Contribution:

This person is responsible for the day to day support of local facility, acts as 2nd level support for those issues that cannot be resolved by the shared service center.  This person is responsible for the hardware life cycle including documenting receipt of equipment, imaging of equipment, deployment of new equipment, and return of equipment to leasing firm. This person is also responsible for the coordination and disposal of obsolete equipment. Position is also responsible for the support of the shop floor IT environment.

• Attends regular meetings with Local Support Team Lead and the other MAHLE IT Local Support Team members.
• Reviews iET tickets on a daily basis for the locations he/she are responsible for.
• If there are incidents or requests that cannot be resolved by local support staff,  these get escalated to the appropriate MAHLE IT Team.
• Uses Company software distribution package for the setup and imaging of new PC’s and is responsible for the deployment, setup of new hardware.
• Is responsible for new hire orientation to inform new employees on use of their new hardware and IT Support information.
• Travel may be required to help on special projects. 
• Other duties and responsabilities may be assigned.

Your Experience & Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred or three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge and experience in operating systems as Microsoft Windows.
• Knowledge and experience in applications as Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, etc.
• Knowledge and experience to install computers, printers, software, mobile phone, phones.
• Knowledge of networks.
• Knowledge and experience to cabling.
• Experience to attend end users.
