System integrity - Maintain master data in SAP and various excel files to track goods in transit, backlogs, prepare reports to indicate parts to be expedited, ensure orders are placed timeously to avoid stock outs, track inventory with on shelf expiry dates to minimize waste, apply forecasting techniques to ensure peaks in demand are analysed and catered for

Full procurement and planning responsibility - Processing of supplier purchase orders in SAP, backorder tracking and supplier management, ETA/delivery date feedback to sales/customer service, assisting with airfreight estimates for customers, supplier ratings/audits, conduct regular reviews with suppliers, ensure all shipping documents/customs documents are saved into correct folders, ensure all suppliers are paid on time, manage all Incoterm updates, ensure all SARS customs processes to be adhered to, communicate effectively with all freight forwarders including completing and checking all clearing instructions

Communicating frequently with the 3PL warehouse, coordinating all supplier deliveries, checking all goods receiving in SAP, handling customer queries on availability, preparing customer back order reports, supporting sales managers with any queries

Coordinate and execute financial activities including credit notes, stock reconciliation for returns, customer freight charges, pricing queries, project manage of MPS lean process improvement projects

Export/Import control, Supplier documentation Audits, Finance audits, support with various administrative tasks including tasks, ensure signed proof of deliveries etc.

Qualifications

 

Diploma in Supply Chain / Logistics and similar

 

Certifications

 

            Advanced Office (Highly advantageous), Project Management

 

Experience

 

  • 3-5 Years experience in automotive sales
  • 3-5 years’ experience in SAP Sales (P50/S4 Hana experience highly advantageous)
  • 3-5 years’ experience working with MRP Processes (Shipping, Logistics, export control)
  • 3-5 years advanced office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
