- Continuous optimization of furnace technology and soldering processes, including associated fixtures
- Influence the design of products to ensure they are suitable and optimized for soldering, in close collaboration with design engineering
- Conduct root cause analyses for soldering defects and derive and implement appropriate corrective actions
- Document analysis results and optimization measures
- Monitor and ensure stable process control of soldering systems
- Create and adjust programs for soldering processes (e.g., batch changes or new products)
- Perform visual inspections of solder joints as part of sampling procedures
- Create and maintain work plans including process sequences and time specifications
- Apply lean management methods (e.g., value stream design, 5S) to optimize production processes
- Conduct economic efficiency analyses and implement process optimizations and rationalization measures
- Support new product launches and series production
- Work closely with quality management, especially in P-FMEA and failure analyses, and implement optimization measures
- Participate in workplace design and layout planning
Your Experience and Qualifications
- Successfully completed technical degree (minimum four-year university education, e.g., mechanical engineering, process engineering, materials science)
- Professional experience in work preparation or industrial engineering
- Experience in optimizing soldering processes (high-vacuum soldering systems)
- Good knowledge of manufacturing processes and design-for-manufacturing principles
- Strong technical and commercial understanding
- Structured, analytical, and independent working style
