Tooling Engineer & Injection Value Stream Leader

Your Contribution

 

  • Lead daily production on injection molding lines to meet OEE, scrap, downtime and delivery targets.
  • Coordinate with the Project team for new mold launches, industrialization and trials.
  • Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance of molds; plan and follow up spare parts.
  • Drive SMED/quick mold change improvements to stabilize processes.
  • Prepare and manage CAPEX requests, including mold, press, and injection robot systems; support supplier selection and purchasing processes.
  • Participate in global project trials (FAT/SAT) and share best practices.
  • Collaborate with Purchasing for project quotations and tooling procurement.
  • Guarantee compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Lead workforce allocation, shift planning, leave management, and coaching.
  • Support staff development through training, motivation, and performance management.

 

Your Experience & Qualifications 

 

  • Master’s in Materials Engineering preferred or Bachelor’s in a relevant Engineering Department.
  • 7+ years of experience in production or assembly lines; injection molding expertise required.
  • Proven knowledge of mold change/SMED, process optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with injection robots/automation systems and basic CAD drawing literacy.
  • Strong reporting, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent English- both written and spoken.
  • Team-oriented leader with effective communication and coaching skills.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel internationally for suppliers, projects, and trials.
  • Proficiency in SAP and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
