Your Contribution

As a Technical Support Specialist reporting to the Supervisor of Applications Engineering, you will be responsible for maintenance and support of MAHLE Applications at MAHLE Facilities and at customer sites in Metro Detroit, as well as work with developers and customer IT to help debug applications.

  • 2nd level support for deployment of software and applications, diagnosing, debugging, and resolving issues with automotive software application

  • Liaison between software developers and customer. Work closely with current and potential customers to develop customer requirements, roll out or make changes to new or existing applications

  • Contribute to the development of new products and continuous enhancement of existing products through active interaction with geographically distributed software and hardware teams and customers

  • Responsible for server maintenance and debugging in windows and/or linux (Ubuntu) containerized platforms

  • Support Windows Sever 2016 & newer, including software deployment and application trouble shooting, debugging

  • Responsible for container orchestration using Open Shift using Kubernetes and Docker containers

Your Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (Engineering, Technology) desired, or Associate’s Degree/Technical Certifications with 1-2 years of related experience

  • Strong familiarity with server maintenance and debugging

  • Previous experience with Open Shift, Red Hat, Kubernetes and Docker containers

  • Understanding of Dynatrace is a plus
