Foreign Trade Analyst (Hybrid)
Your Contribution
The Foreign Trade Analyst is responsible for ensuring compliance regarding customs and export control laws and regulations in daily operations within areas of responsibility within a region. This role will ensure that all internal guidelines and procedures are adhered to and compliance to all local laws and regulations are followed.
- Transform data sources into measurable data
- Process and integrate data into a database/data management system
- Create dashboards for data utilization
- Implement KPIs and reporting results to various teams
- Develop processes/queries and automation
- Manage data analysis tools
- Stay updated on new tools to optimize data analysis
- Have good interpersonal skills
- Be meticulous, organized, and responsive
- Possess analytical thinking
- Create appropriate documentation that allows stakeholders to understand the steps of the data analysis process and duplicate or replicate the analysis if necessary
- Ability to mine data from primary and secondary sources, then reorganize the data in a format that can be easily interpretated
- Collaborating with programmers, engineers, and organizational leaders to identify opportunities for process improvements, recommend system modifications, and develop policies for data governance
- Gatekeeper for the data so stakeholders can understand data and use it to make strategic business decisions.
Your Experience & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering or related field from an accredited four-year college or university

1 or more years working knowledge and practical application of US customs regulations
- Knowledge of export control legislation (mainly European Union and United States), customs laws, origin of goods and preferential treatment, local laws and regulations preferred
- Experience with SAP global trade services (GTS) module preferred

Licensed Customs Broker, HTS classification, USMCA qualification, and Value Reconciliation preferred
