YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS

  • Provide general business support to the NA Service organization
  • Perform Month end close responsibilities; Month End financial reporting
  • Establish databases of pertinent information for use in analyzing future plans and forecasts
  • Works closely with Managers of Central Service Functions such as Purchasing, Sales, Logistics, HR & Accounting on establishing their budgets and supports them on multiple financial topics that impact the Service organization.
  • Establish a costing model for rates for the Engineering departments and monitor projects profitability.
  • Prepares and submits all information relevant to the economic budget according to corporate established timeline.
  • Communicates with the Business Units on cost allocations of Central Services
  • Direct preparation of studies, reports and analysis in areas such as budgets, forecasts, financial plans, governmental requirements, statistical reports, cash flow projections and business forecasts.
  • SAP Project system reporting and analysis, various projects and AD HOC Analysis as needed.
  • Conduct special studies to analyze complex financial actions and prepare recommendations for policy, procedure, control, or action.
  • Make recommendations to management regarding cost saving or profit generating opportunities and profitability improvement strategies.
  • Analyze financial information to determine present and future performance.
  • Identify and communicate trends and other strategic information to management.
  • Collects and analyzes regional information for insurance policies
  • Handles special projects as assigned

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) required preferably in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration from a four-year college or university
  • Three or more years of related experience preferred in Controlling, Finance or Accounting areas.
  • Experience in public accounting or an international automotive manufacturing company is a plus. 
  • Must have excellent planning, organizing, and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and financial analysis abilities.
  • Capacity to learn and apply new tools and concepts.
  • Knowledge of current principles of accounting, finance and audit principles. Experience with German GAAP preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to design, implement, and manage complex processes. 
  • Computer literacy to include Microsoft Office applications. Must have excellent Excel skills, including pivot table and macros. Experience with SAP, Business Warehouse or other ERP system tools.
