Material Handler

Perform any one of many of the operations necessary to operate industrial lift trucks and other material handling equipment (tuggers, pickers, mechanized pallet jacks, hoist, chain falls, and conveyers).

• Counts, checks, picks, packs, loads, moves, receives and otherwise accounts for parts, material and finished products.
• Related Duties: Transports parts and materials between various locations such as receiving docks to storage areas, from production to shipping docks from storage locations to assembly lines and/or between production work stations.
• Drive industrial vehicles such as fork-lifts and other equipment to move parts and material around plant premises in accordance with applicable plant license requirements.
• Load and unload various racks, conveyors and pallets in support of production.
• Replaces, tests and recharge industrial batteries. Picks and packs parts. Packs and band large parts in crates, boxes and shipping racks and on pallets. Insure required parts and materials are available at the prescribed production departments
