Simulation Engineer 电磁仿真工程师

Effective January 1, 2025, MAHLE has merged its former business units “Engine Systems and Components”, and “Electronics and Mechatronics” into the new business unit “Powertrain and Charging”. With this change MAHLE will consequently strengthen its strategic field of electrification by connecting the focus areas of efficient electric motors and intelligent charging to the Group’s competencies from over 100 years of experience in engine systems and components.

Your Contribution

• Design and electromagnetic simulation of electric motors
• Definition of material and manufacturing of designed systems including aspects in close collaboration with manufacturing site
• Definition of criteria for design, electromagnetic constraints, manufacturing and assembly
• Monitoring of design status and achievement of requirements for mechanical and electromagnetic design
• Continuous improvement of design process, lessons learned and best practice for design and thermal simulation Optimizing e-motor design in terms of electromagnetic, thermal, dynamic, NVH properties
• Check of mechanical design and manufacturing drawings

Your Experience & Qualification:

• Education with at least diploma/master in electrical or mechanical engineering
• At least 3-5 years of experience in design and electromagnetic simulation of motors in automotive industries
• Long term experience in robust design, design to cost and design to manufacturing
• Very good experience in FEM-simulation tools e.g. Maxwell, ANSYS/MotorCAD, JMAG, RMxpert, Simplorer,Matlab/Simulink
• Very good experience in motor component (lamination, magnets, rotor, housing, windings, …) requirements, material properties, design
• Experience in design of cooling systems for electric motors and inverters- Experience in integration of electric powertrain components
• Skills and experience in inter-cultural teams
• Excellent language skills in English in writing and speaking
• Experience in manufacturing technologies of mechatronic components
