Oracle Database Administrator

Your role & responsibilities:

• Working in a global Oracle DB Admin team
• Evaluate new database technologies and shape the future of our database landscape
• Responsible for the daily operations (bugfixes, system optimizations, high performance tuning) of our Oracle database systems
• Implement security policies / measures for Oracle databases
• Develop and maintain scripts to automate our infrastructure running on Linux (and Windows)
• Consult our software engineers on database design, query optimizations and best practices

Your skills & strengths:

• Computer science degree
• At least 3 years of experience in administration of Oracle Databases
• Comprehensive understanding of database  structures, database management, and query performance tuning
• Good knowledge of developing database queries, stored procedures, and functions
• Build and maintain Linux (and Windows) systems to support database workloads
• Willing to occasionally take on maintenance tasks offpeak hours, late in in the evening or sometimes during weekends
• Team player attitude
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to push things through in a constructive manner
• Willingness to work in international teams & projects
• English skills language on min. B2 level
