Maintenance Manager (MECT)
Your Contribution
As a Maintenance Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of all equipment and facilities. You will lead a skilled team and oversee all aspects of maintenance operations to support smooth production and sustainable growth.
- Lead, supervise, and develop the maintenance team to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Oversee preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities across all machinery and facilities.
- Manage and control the maintenance budget, monitor expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure all equipment and infrastructure meet high operational standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve maintenance procedures and best practices.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify, diagnose, and resolve issues promptly.
- Plan and coordinate repair, installation, and upgrade projects.
- Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards, with a strong focus on Environmental Health and Safety (EHS).
- Assign work schedules, prioritize tasks, and evaluate repair cost estimates.
- Maintain accurate documentation including maintenance logs, progress reports, and compliance records.
- Oversee spare parts inventory and manage procurement and vendor relationships.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and professional development.
- Utilize CMMS or similar systems to manage work orders, asset history, and performance metrics.
- Drive energy-saving initiatives and sustainability projects to reduce utility consumption and environmental impact.
- Monitor and analyze energy usage data, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend efficiency solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote energy awareness and support company-wide sustainability goals.
Your Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facility Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in maintenance, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Experience in the automotive industry or similar manufacturing environments is strongly preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building systems.
- Proven expertise in maintenance planning, scheduling, budgeting, and cost control.
- Proficiency in CMMS and other digital maintenance tools.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities; fluency in English (spoken and written) is required.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, environmental standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Willingness to work on-site at MAHLE Engine Components (Thailand) Co., Ltd. – Serithai Road, Bangkok.
